Thomas-Kilmann Conflict Mode Instrument (TKI)


The Thomas-Kilmann Instrument is the world's best-selling instrument for understanding how different conflict-managing styles affect interpersonal and group dynamics.  The research-backed instrument offers five situation specific approaches to effectively deal with conflict.  The TKI is comprised of 30 items and is easy to administer.  It can be used as a foundation for developing a common language among individuals to assist with clear communication during conflicts and management of those conflicts effectively.  


The power of the  Thomas-Kilmann Instrument provides a variety of insights to individuals and organizations and can be a useful tool for the organization's conflict interventions.  The instrument can be used alone or in combination with  Myers-Briggs ® Type Indicator (MBTI®) assessment.  It provides a solid foundation for all of your conflict resolution initiatives:  conflict management, team building, leadership and coaching.

Fundamental Interpersonal Relations Orientation-Behavior™ (FIRO-B®)


The Fundamental Interpersonal Relations Orientation-Behavior™ (FIRO-B®) measures interpersonal needs in three areas: Inclusion, Control, and Affection.  The assessment can increase team performance by enabling team members to better understand relationship dynamics and reduce conflicts.  The FIRO-B®  supports effective one-on-one coaching, team performance, and leadership development.  Since team performance is key to organizational effectiveness, the FIRO-B® assessment can be used to facilitate the formation of teams, as well as to help groups become more effective by understanding and meeting the interpersonal needs of their team. 


Fundamental Interpersonal Relations Orientation-Business™ (FIRO®)


The Fundamental Interpersonal Relations Orientation-Business™ (FIRO®) measures interpersonal needs in three areas: involvment, influence, and connection.  The assessment identifies existing communication and interpersonal dynamics that affect leadership success and helps individuals overcome or prevent issues.  The FIRO Business assessment is valuable to businesses because it gathers key insights for relating to direct reports, superiors, and peers. 


The FIRO Business assessment is focused on improving performance and features language used in business settings.   The reports clearly describe how individuals behave, how thye affect others, and how they can be more effective.  The assessment can be used alone or in combination with Myers-Briggs ® Type Indicator (MBTI®) assessment.
